Nissan Foreign Professionals Finance Program

Customers from foreign countries may be eligible for the NMAC Foreign Professionals Finance Program. This program is for individuals from foreign countries, working in the U.S., with limited or no previous U.S. credit history (no derogatory credit allowed). The program allows professionals with higher education or unique skills sets, to obtain financing without an established U.S. credit history.

Program Requirements Prior to Approval

Please see the following program requirements:

  • Copy of applicant’s U.S. visa, with photo redacted (Typically H-1B “Specialty Occupation” and L-1 work visas)
  • Verifiable length of stay in the U.S. as noted on the visa (I-94 Forms are acceptable*)
  • Proof of valid social security number
  • Verifiable minimum annual income of $75,000
  • A letter of employment which includes the applicant’s job title, start date, anticipated length of employment in the U.S., and a Human Resources contact
  • Verification of residential status and phone number
  • Two verifiable U.S. references
  • Maximum front-end advance is 110%
  • Program does not qualify for additional Platinum or Platinum+Elite Dealer Advance and LTV
    *Through the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), citizens of Canada and Mexico may be eligible under the USMCA TN professional program. Eligibility criteria are different for Canadian and Mexican citizens.Unlike Mexican citizens, Canadian citizens are generally eligible for admission as nonimmigrants without a visa. Canadian USMCA professional can have a Visa with TN classification status, or an I-94 form with a TN classification status for admission that must show citizen of Canada, plus proof of Canadian citizenship. Mexican USMCA professionals must have a Visa with TN classification.

    Lender Administration Fee

    A $295 Lender Administration Fee will be assessed on all Foreign Professional retail contracts and leases. The Lender Administration Fee may not be charged to or passed through to the buyer, directly or indirectly, in the cash price of the vehicle or in any other amount. Additionally, it is only refundable to the dealer when a properly approved and processed flat cancelation has taken place.
