The 2024 Nissan Frontier comes with an energetic V6 engine which is standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Quickly flip a switch to enter into tow/haul mode, which lets you tow up to 6,640 pounds. Frontier models can be equipped with either 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrains, though the drivetrain availability will depend on which model you select. The S, SV, and SL all offer a choice between 4x2 or 4x4, while the PRO-X® is exclusive with 4x2 and the PRO-4X® and Hardbody Edition are exclusive with 4x4.
